Mobile phone combined with shave

Can you imagine shaving your beard anywhere using your cellphone? How about this?

This weirdo Japanese cellphone comes with an electric razor built right in. Of course. Sure, getting little beard hairs in your phone probably isn't the smartest thing in the world, but if it means you'll never have a missed spot again, it might just be worth it.

A new really smart and extreme smartphone - i-mate 810-f

Not just any old smartphone, the i-mate 810-F could walk into the toughest boozer in town, confident of emerging unscathed several hours later.

i-mate brand new 810-f smartphone

Yes, this is the tough guy of the smartphone world, built to US military standards and able to cope with pressure, heat, water, humidity and even extreme shock without a dip in performance. And just in case you happen to working in extreme climates, the handset is good for a chilly -10°C or a sweltering 60°C, the former quite useful in the current cold snap.

While that no doubt appeals if you happen to be planning a trip up Everest or a an adventure along the Amazon, the majority of us just want to know if it's any good for email and calls. And you know what? It just might be. A Windows Mobile 6.1 device with a 624Mhz PXA processor and high-speed HSDPA connectivity, it offers a full QWERTY keyboard, a 320 × 240 touch screen, 2.2GB of storage, a video-friendly 2 megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, a digital compass and Bluetooth. A specification every bit as solid as its casing.

And if it does happen to let you down, i-mate is offering a lifetime warranty, replacing the 810-F without a quibble. Look out for it in the coming weeks for an as-yet undisclosed price.
